Yesterday I shared the experience I had with a group of quilters. What I forgot to mention is this one very important tidbit of information. Remember the gentleman that sat alongside me? Turns out he owns a business centered around repairs and maintenance of long arm quilt machines. I had the privilege of not only visiting his website but also his shop. The gentleman’s name is Ray Voegeli. Ray has a wealth of experience and knowledge in the long arm quilting industry. His shop is located in the basement of his home.
Ray sells
- Backlash springs
- Belts, brushes and pulleys
- Bobbins, bobbin cases and hook assembly’s
- Bobbin winders
- Cutting tools
- Fuses
- IntelliStitch Parts
- IntelliQuilter Parts
- Measuring Tapes
- Needles
- O-Rings
- Oil
- Screws
- Spool Holders
- Switches
- etc, etc
He also offers his expertise to service long arm quilting machines.
I arrived at Ray’s home thinking my visit would be short. It wasn’t until 90 minutes later that I found myself leaving. I got caught up in numerous conversations about the ins and outs of the long arm quilting business. Ray showed me one of his inventions, which I ultimately purchased. It’s a home-made bobbin winder.
I highly recommend Ray as a reliable resource for your long arm quilt machine needs. Check out his website and see what you think.
