Even before July rolled around I’d been contemplating what to declare as my A Lovely Year of Finishes July challenge. My baskets are overflowing with candidates; each one saying, “Pick Me, Pick Me.” Some will be chosen during this calendar year and some may have to wait for quite a while. Each one has its place on my unwritten priority list.
Of the items that have definite deadlines there’s one obvious choice. This item belongs to one of my son-in-laws. His grandmother made it long ago. It’s waiting to be quilted. Since he is traveling back home in August and would like to take it with him I thought it fitting to bring his quilt to the forefront. Thus, I am declaring his Bow Tie quilt as my July project. Here’s a sneak peek.
That will be very special when it is finished!
Thank you!
Lovely design and colors!
Thanks!
Sometimes it’s a tough decision to pick the monthly project…all those quilts scrambling for attention!
Exactly!
Good luck with your goal!
Thanks Melissa!
