All Packed

Can’t believe it’s already time to head home! The days spent at my own Little Cabin in the Woods go so quickly.

As the title says, my portable studio is all packed and ready to be transported back home. Before I closed up the last zipper I took a couple photos to update you on my progress. This first photo shows the nine small art pieces that will ride up front with me. If you look closely you might see the pins that are holding the labels and hanging sleeves in place. Of course you can’t see the whole pin because they were inserted from the back, the side that I will be stitching on. They should make the ride seem shorter.

The second photo is a peek at my largest art piece. I put together a quilt sandwich last night and managed to get the straight line, well as close as I can get to straight line, quilting done. I’m really happy with the outcome so far. Next I have to trim off the excess fabric; add facings, a label and a hanging sleeve. I can’t wait to show you the finished project.

As soon as I have the nine small art pieces as well as the larger one complete I will introduce you to them. Until then…
