The power of suggestion, whether through spoken word or a photograph, can be very strong. How we react to that experience is up to us.
As the name of my business might suggest, I am a quilter. Photographs and examples of my work are displayed throughout my blog, my home and the homes of my family and my customers.
To those that have a heart for items made by hand exposure to the richness of their quality often leads to a craving for one of their very own.
Sometime ago a close sister-in-law expressed her admiration for my work. While sharing her words of encouragement she asked if I would be interested in making a quilt for her granddaughter.
Quite some time passed before the request went from just an idea to the choosing of a pattern and fabric. After exchanging countless emails the selections were finally made.
The pattern chosen is the Yellow Brick Road by Atkinson Designs and these are the fabrics
Now all I have to do is get started.
Thanks for sharing your time!

Congratulations! I know the pattern Yellow Brick Road! I have made a quilt myself with that pattern. Those colors/fabrics are lovely – looking forward to seeing it 🙂
Cool! Photo?
