You know how they say if life gives you lemons make them into lemonade? I’ve been struggling with a stack of quilt blocks I received a while back. Numerous attempts were made to turn them into one cohesive arrangement but no matter how hard I tried it just wouldn’t work.
Not wanting to admit defeat I decided to turn my lemons into something else. Armed with my rotary cutter I subjected every single block to its blade. To each of those fragments I added additional fabric. Then I repeated those steps over and over and over again.
Some of the new blocks were stitched together into art pieces and some are still awaiting their transformation. This project will be evolving for quite sometime. All I have to show you so far is a photo I took early on in the process. I have no idea when the project will come to an end. By the time it does you will most likely not be able to tell where the original blocks ended and the new art piece began. Here’s my photo

I hope this works and you have some great lemonade when it is all done.
Me TOO!
That rhymes with MOO! It will turn out just fine.
