I have tried in more ways than one to salvage a grouping of re-purposed quilt blocks. To date my attempts have failed miserably. At least until now. In the center of Art Piece #14 is a reclaimed, reconfigured quilt block assembled from small portions of four different blocks. These reassembled pieces are surrounded by white fabric.
If you look closely at the image you will notice an unplanned surprise. By pure coincidence the image, when the fragments were stitched together, formed a tulip. This happy accident just had to be preserved. So far this is the one and only block that will be saved. As you can see I surrounded the tulip block with an artful array of complimentary fabrics. This new art piece has been titled Tulip. The piece measures 17 1/2″ x 17 3/4″.

I like the wavey fabric cuts in this one.
Thank you! 🙂
