3 Days, 3 Quotes, Day 3
Laura Bruno Lilly, a follower of my blog, is familiar with my once a week series called Enough Said. This series has been featured for almost as long as this blog has been in existence. All of the posts filed under this category contain a simple, thought-provoking quote. As the category heading states, nothing more needs to be said.
Laura Bruno Lilly is participating in The 3 Day Quote Challenge. She has nominated me to join in. Thank you Laura for following my blog and for the nomination.
Here are the Rules for participation:
– Thank the person who nominated you
– Post a quote for three consecutive days (1 quote for each day)
– Share why this quote appeals to you so much
– Nominate 3 different bloggers for each day
Day 3 Quote
We as humans have a tendency to place too much focus on the things that surround us. If we were to strip away all of that away what remains, in my opinion, is our relationships. The love of family and friends is far more important than things.
The Nominees
For the last part of this challenge I’m supposed to nominate three different people to participate. Rather than do that I will simply list a few of my fellow bloggers (in no special order) that continue to inspire me every day. If these individuals would like to jump in then I will be absolutely thrilled. If their schedules are filled with other activities I totally understand.

This is the last day in my three-part series. I have really enjoyed participating. Thank you Laura Bruno Lilly for nominating me. Thank you also to the many people that take the time to stop by! You bring a smile to my face and a warm feeling to my heart. ❤️
That’s a great quote, too. It has the advantage of being universally true, not just an opinion!
Great finale! Thanks again for keeping the challenge alive and moving. I enjoyed the reading and the doing of it!
I know that quote well! Years ago I made a wall quilt for my beloved sister in law that had her beloved dog (who passed a couple years later) in the center with those exact words on the border 🙂
Hi Cindy,
Yes, yes, YES! I love this quote, and the older you get the more (painfully) aware you are of this. ~smile~ Roseanne
How true that is!! ❤️
