The Tour Continues
I’ve been sharing photos of my recently completed art pieces. On Tuesday we took a look at number seven. Today we will take a look at number eight.
A Favorite
While I am pleased with the outcome of the first seven mini quilts, this piece is one of my favorites.
The minimalistic nature of the center focal point as well as the simple pattern of quilted lines all blend together to create a peaceful, eye pleasing appearance.
I can’t wait to put it on display.

- Materials: Fabric top and backing are 100% cotton
- Batting: Warm & Natural
- Dimensions: 8” L x 5 3/8” W
- Quilting Stitch: Straight lines using a variegated thread
- Quilted On: Conventional sewing machine
Now that you have seen the seventh quilt are you curious about the others in the series? Links to the first seven are filed under the category Courthouse Steps, Block of the Month. Go ahead and check them out! You won’t be disappointed.
Thank you for visiting!

I like it, too, but my favorite is still “Specks”. =) That’s a great shade of blue, I like the variegated thread, and the quilting is a wonderful match for the piecing.
