Eight of Sixteen: Court House Friends 8, AP # 53

The Tour Continues

I’ve been sharing photos of my recently completed art pieces. On Tuesday we took a look at number seven Today we will take a look at number eight.

A Favorite

While I am pleased with the outcome of the first seven mini quilts, this piece is one of my favorites.

The minimalistic nature of the center focal point as well as the simple pattern of quilted lines all blend together to create a peaceful, eye pleasing appearance.

I can’t wait to put it on display.

  1. I like it, too, but my favorite is still “Specks”. =) That’s a great shade of blue, I like the variegated thread, and the quilting is a wonderful match for the piecing.
