A Quilt For My First Grandson

This was another of my early longarm quilting experiments. Before customer quilts began rolling-in I was desperate to have something to practice on. There was no better way to accomplish that than by creating a project of my own.

This masculine colored piece was made with my grandson in mind. The center panel was a remnant I found in a clearance bin. The other fabrics were chosen to add a touch more pizzazz.

On this small quilt I practiced my straight line geometric stitch pattern.
