Regatta Quilt Update

Roseanne over at Home Sewn By Us is hosting a quilt along using a pattern called Regatta. As soon as I saw the photo I just knew I had to make one for myself. The QAL, which has no time schedule to follow, is now in progress.

The first step in participating is to choose the fabrics you will use. I have decided to choose this grouping for my quilt.

Selecting my fabrics is pretty much all that I have accomplished so far. Hopefully next week I will have something more to share.

The Regatta

I follow Roseanne’s blog over at Home Sewn By Us. Recently she shared a post about a quilt called Regatta. After reading the story I decided check out the pattern. The instructions looked super easy and a great candidate for my supply of scrappy strips.

Last Friday I received a post from Roseanne announcing a Sew Along. Starting on 1/1/2018 she and all tempted parties are invited to follow along. I’ve decided to join in and make a Regatta quilt for myself. The pattern makes a lap sized 57″ x 74″ quilt. Here’s a photo of the quilt as provided by Pinterest.

Doesn’t that just tempt you to make one of your own? Ready, Set…….
