Only A Whisper Could Be Heard
Good thing one doesn’t need a voice to communicate through a blog, audible voice that is. With the volume of coughing I’ve been experiencing, pun intended, my throat and my voice have taken a beating. Because only every other word is audible, communication has become an issue. Thankfully the written word is not at all impacted. Since the spoken word is challenging for me, at this moment, I’m will use this time to compose a blog entry.
No New Year’s Resolutions Here
I’m not one to make New Year’s resolutions. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not opposed to setting goals. Setting them just because it’s a new year seems silly. Who ever keeps those things anyway? Goals are always on my mind and ever-changing. Focusing on one specific thing though is not one of my attributes. My thoughts are like spaghetti, all tangled up together. Pulling just one out at a time I believe would make my whole thought process crumble. The many intertwined segments are what keep the whole thing centered and functioning.
A Few Goals
My mind has been racing with ideas to share in my blog in 2013. The ideas which seem to resurface over and over again are the ones I will share below. Mind you they are merely suggestions. Whether or not they will be there a day, a week or even a month from now who knows. For now they seem interesting and plausible. So, here goes:
- Update and organize my To-Do List. Done
- Complete one project from said list per month.
- Continue linking up with Freshly Pieced’s WIP Wednesday.
- Plan a special event for my one year anniversary.
- Get 10,000 clicks on my blog. Update: 03/19/2013 Almost There!
- Increase the number of my followers to 300.
- Add more “regular” features to my postings.
- Increase my customer base.
I realize this list may seem somewhat boring to the outside reader. They are however very inspiring to me. So for now this is how they will stay. Since I don’t have a crystal ball I have no idea how realistic these nine items are. Only time will tell.
Stick around for the adventure. I’m sure it will be an interesting one. Here we go . . .
